I love couples sessions! Whether it’s for your engagement, your anniversary, or just any old Sunday – your love deserves to be celebrated. This guide will give you a little information about couples sessions, my approach, your experience, and your investment! Read on for more!
My approach
I truly believe in bringing out your true selves and your undeniable love for each other during your session! My approach is to make it fun and relaxed for you! I like to get you moving, laughing and definitely showing off your love – this isn’t your typical photo session. My goal is to have you interact with each other, forget I’m even there! I’ll never ask you to smile or tell you to ”pretend to laugh”, every emotion I extract from you will be genuine and authentic. I shoot most of my couple sessions at sunrise or golden hour (just before sunset) – that’s when we get the best light!
Your experience
Your experience is important to me, I want to make it the best possible (because that give me amazing results that you love). You’re not going to sign your contract and then not hear from me until the day of the session, no no no! I’m in touch leading up to your session to help you make the most out of your session! I will get to know your story and your personality to provide you with a completely custom experience! I’ll also send you a little guide with some tips and tricks to making your session amazing!
Investment
We will spend about an hour and a half together capturing some amazing moments and you’ll receive a final gallery with about 50 fully edited images.
Pet-Friendly!
Dogs are pretty important members of the family! If you’re thinking of incorporating your dog into your session, They can be a great addition and I am totally on board! I haven’t met a dog that hasn’t become my best friend and I always have treats on hand! Let’s chat about how we can include your cutest family member in your session!
Oh hey!
I’m laid back, young at heart and a big dreamer! I’m a lover of nature, house plants, and the environment! You’ll find me eating spicy foods or French fries soaked in vinegar. I’m a huge Disney fan and just love the magic of visiting the parks! Film still holds a place in my heart and it really inspires my work!
I’m very nostalgic, like when you hear a song, or smell a scent and it brings back so many feelings from a time. I just love that feeling! I like to create my images in the same fashion, I want you to look back on your photos and feel the joy and love that you felt in that moment!

If you feel you’re ready to start this adventure, fill out the form below and we can get things moving! Once we find a date that works for all of us I will send you a proposal. The proposal lets you pick your session details and will then take you to your contract and invoice.
The fine print
Sessions are considered booked in my calendar once the contract has been signed and the retainer had been paid. A retainer of 25% is due upon signing the contract and the remainder is due the day of the session, prior to the session beginning. Payments can be made in cash or by e-mail transfer to hello@heathersavardphotography.ca. Turn around time for gallery delivery depends on the time of year, but it is generally 4 weeks.
